26. My Machu Picchu
What was it that I nudged with the toe of my shoe? A rock? A bone? An animal? I dared not move. Hour after hour, no sound, no light, just crushing nothingness. Can something come from nothingness? Astrophysicists say yes, our big, noisy universe came from nothingness. So, why not morning? Sweet, quiet morning? If there was ever a time to question whether morning always follows night, this was it. Where were the birds? Where was the sun? There was nothing to do but pray and wait for a sign of daybreak, a sign that Machu Picchu was still there. (100)

If ever you needed a time to keep the faith , this is it ...!
At moments like this I like to recall James Cleaveland and his angelic choir sing " I Shall Wear a
Crown." Take heart and stare down crushing nothingness ... ( great metaphor !)
He's singing for you : https://youtu.be/0gBQHcmz2n8?si=TMr1D9fWImBWjp3i
