I love the wonderful image of you perched above the ruins. But my first thought ‘were you hungry?’.

I was so far into pain that hunger did not even register. Thanks so much for the compliment re: the illustration. I worked hard to get it right.

Someone asked if I used AI. No, no, no. In no way would I ever use AI in writing or illustrating. Music, I take no credit except for the excavating and curating. (It's a fun job.)

Love the illustration. Charming Nora Jones video too.

Thank you! Re: illustration. After conceptualizing, there were many drafts until I got it.

Another great illustration, Bex!

Astonishingly beautiful panoramic perspectival drawing - so realistic ! The detached feelings you describe are the fleshed out definition of shock . I'm hoping for a helicopter to show up in the nick of time ..!

Great image. I bet you worked out on that one.

Yes, you're right. What does a weight-bearing elbow look like? Which way should I be facing? What does sunrise on the side of the ruins look like? I cannot count the number of drafts and touch-ups.

An existential detachment… reality or non- reality, floating in space trying to touch the earth.

So true. Real or not-real? And assuming the former, would I ever experience it?

That makes it sound like a three-bases home run. Muchas gracias x 3, EM!
