Interesting... I weigh the ordering tunes by two criteria: how they match the narrative sequentially and the mood affectively. Narratively, the sighting of potential rescuers is a Hurrah! But then the narrow ledge is a serious problem that throws cold water on the idea of there being an easy way out. In that way, the narrow ledge confirms the choice of Hallelujah at the sighting only. Then, I felt the strength of the Rescue Me song did not match in feeling the first half of the story as well as it matched the second. My opinions only. Yours may be equally valid.
